ABAX isn't a startup that appeared overnight. It's a craft passed from one generation to the next, built on a simple belief: behind every messy spreadsheet is a real person who deserves software that finally helps them.
The father of our founder, Raul Machado, saw that one problem sat at the heart of nearly every business: managing data. So he started building databases for clients, packed with features that automated the work they did by hand, and solved it entirely on his own.
For decades Raul worked as a freelancer under the pseudonym Abax, quietly building the data systems that businesses ran on. He mastered his craft one solution at a time, and earned a reputation for solving what others couldn't.
Carlos Machado followed in his father's footsteps. When the time came to open his own software and business-consulting company, he named it ABAX Consulting, in honor of his father and the name he built his life's work under.
Since 2017 ABAX Consulting has helped 100+ businesses do more, spend less, and grow, carrying a family legacy of taming data into the modern web.
